Tish Farmers Market Patriots Park
The Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Farmers Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Patriot’s Park. You can grab everything from farm-fresh fruits and vegetables to artisanal breads, baked goods, meats, poultry, fish, craft spirits, and delicious farmhouse cheeses. With a fun children’s playground right in the park, it’s the perfect family activity!
Rockefeller State Park Preserve
A beautiful area offering miles of scenic carriage trails, perfect for walking. The trails, many of which were designed by the Rockefeller family, encircle the picturesque, 24-acre Swan Lake, which is a tranquil focal point of the preserve. Visitors can walk the Swan Lake Loop.
Kykuit, The Rockefeller Estate
The historic country home of four generations of the Rockefeller family. Visitors can take guided tours to see the main house, extensive art collections, and the meticulously maintained gardens overlooking the Hudson River.
This acclaimed working farm and educational center is adjacent to the Preserve. Stone Barns is a great destination for families, featuring various seasonal events and educational activities, and is also home to the Michelin-starred restaurant Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze
This iconic event, which began in 2005 at Van Cortlandt Manor, has grown into one of the Hudson Valley’s signature fall experiences. It’s an incredibly immersive display featuring more than seven thousand hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns, all designed and created by a dedicated team of artists. Great family activity.
